Please send your submission electronically in .DOC/ .DOCX and .PDF format using CMT system.
In the registration form select the conference topics that most closely matches the subject area of your paper. This topics selection will be used to match reviewers to your paper, and to include your paper in the most appropriate session in the conference program, so it is important to make a careful selection.
Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit a full paper according to the templates by June 1, 2021 for inclusion in a CIEES 2021 IOP Conference Series: Material Science and Engineering, indexed by Scopus, ISI Web of Science, EI Compendex and others (CC BY license).
The Scientific Committee based on a peer review made by the International Scientific Committee may forward the submitted paper to another appropriate topic.
Manuscript Preparation Instructions
NOTE: Manuscripts that do not conform to the formatting guidelines below will be removed from further consideration without review.
Please strictly follow template styles MS Word. Before starting, read the example document with detailed instructions. Further information is available at IOP Conference Series: Material Science and Engineering author guidelines.
Paper: maximum number of pages allowed is 4 – 8, formatted according to the template and including graphs, annotations, and references. Extra pages will be charged 20 Euro per extra page.
Abstract: included up to 200 words.
Layout, fonts & spaces: please follow template styles – no page numbers, headers, or footers!
Figures and tables: figures and tables should be numbered serially and positioned (centred on the width of the page) close to where they are mentioned in the text, not grouped at the end. Each figure and table should have a brief explanatory caption, centered, numbered with Arabic numerals. The figure’s resolution must be 300 dpi. Please use the following link http://pdf-analyser.edpsciences.org/ to check the quality of the figures in the manuscript!
Equations: use Microsoft Equation editor and make sure that your Equation Editor, including fonts and sizes, are set up to match the text of your document. Equations may be numbered sequentially throughout the text (i.e., (1), (2), (3)…), consecutively with Arabic numerals in parantheses on the right-hand side.
References: please use the Vancouver numerical system where references are numbered sequentially throughout the text. The numbers occur within square brackets, like this , and one number can be used to designate several references. The reference list gives the references in numerical, not alphabetical, order.
Copyright materials: it is the authors’ responsibility to apply for and obtain permission to reproduce in electronic and print form any copyright materials to be included in the work.
File naming and submission: naming is unimportant as the submission system will take care of that. Please submit both the source file and the PDF to CIEES CMT system. PDF must be editable and not password protected.
English: as papers will be published in IOP Conference Series: Material Science and Engineering, a good standard of English are essential and beneficial also to authors, as well written work will be taken more seriously. If English proofreading is requested by the reviewers, please make sure that the person who does the English proofreading is indeed qualified to do so. If in doubt, there are online proofreading services that are not too expensive, such as http://www.proof-reading-service.com, http://www.proofright.co.uk, https://oxbridgeproofreading.co.uk and many others.
